In addition to traditional amusement park rides, Belmont Park features the latest in family entertainment including a traditional arcade, plenty of shopping opportunities and eateries serving everything from food court style corn dogs, pizza, ice cream and churros to sit down dining featuring Sushi and American Bar & Grill. Parking and admission to the Park are free.
The Giant Dipper Roller Coaster is the Parks most distinctive attraction and is one of only two original oceanfront roller coasters still operating on the west coast. The Giant Dipper was originally built in 1925 and has been restored for all to experience the excitement of its quick drops, steep hills, sharp curves and high speeds! In addition to the roller coaster, Belmont Park features many other great rides for riders of all ages! Other rides include: Tilt-a-Whirl, 2 types of Bumper Cars, Beach Blaster, Octotron, Vertical Plunge, Liberty Carousel and more!
In addition to the Rides, Belmont Park is home to 7 Attractions including LazerBlast Laser Tag, Tiki Town Mini Golf, LazerMaze, Speed Wall, Leap of Faith, Rock Wall, Sky Ropes, and the NEWEST Attraction the Zip Line!
The PLUNGE - San Diego's Largest Indoor Heated Swimming Pool - The Plunge at Mission Beach was built in 1925 and has served as a historic aquatic and community center for generations. Today, The Plunge is closed for construction and the re-opening date is unknown.
